my memories of mannys
we used to manage ted nugent, aerosmith, scorpions, acdc.
when the scorpions and acdc would come into town I would escort them to mannys to buy some of their instruments.
I remember going with ted and when he started playing a guitar it was so loud I thought all the pics on the wall were goin to come down on my head. He sure drew a crowd in the stroe. OUr bands loved going to mannys they were treated royally with loads of respect. Of course I bought all my mics down there when I was singing with my band. they let me try all the mics... and I mean all of them, lol ... of course i ended up with the standard sm 58 which i still have today and I love it....
