I arrived in NYC Saturday July 14th 1983 from Louisville, KY to follow my music dreams. I started working for Manny's on Tuesday July 17th. I had no idea what an adventure working in a store could be. Of course, Manny's isn't just a "store": it was a magical place where musicians exchanged ideas, opinions and phone numbers.
